Welcome to St. Helen's Sermon Page. Sermons preached at the Sunday morning Eucharist are coloured with stories and illustrations to bring God's Word to life and relevance for the present. Sermons are based on the readings set for the particular Sunday of the church year. Each week we try to address the needs of people in the church, the wider community, and the world as we make our journey with Christ in this world. We share these reflections as an aid for us all to recognize the great love of God for humanity and all of God's creation. We hope they will help us to reflect on what we encounter day by day in our lives so we may respond to God's call to us into a deeper relationship with God, and with one another.
