Sunday Worship for December 6th

Join us this Sunday, December 6th, for our Service of Morning prayer for the 2nd Sunday of Advent at 10am and later on for our Service of Light and Evening Prayer at 5pm. Both of these services will be livestreamed on our Facebook page. You can download a service sheet for both services by clicking below.  If you are on our email list, you will receive them in our email blast.
This Sunday we light the 2nd candle of Advent for Peace. Being the first Sunday of December, it is also birthday and anniversary Sunday as we light candles for those who are celebrating. Blessings for the week ahead and we hope to 'see you' at our virtual service.
Morning Prayer - On weekday mornings from Tuesday to Friday, you are invited to join the Livestream service of Morning Prayer.  We prepare for each day by centering ourselves on God’s love remembering that God is always present in our lives. We seek God’s guidance for all we must do each day and pray for the world, the church, our communities and people in our lives.  The service goes live at 9:30am each of those days on our Facebook page.
The Wednesday Conversation - On Wednesday mornings you are invited to join the Wednesday Conversation on zoom.  The meeting is available to join at 10am but it will fully start around 10:15.  This allows me time to transition from the Morning Prayer service to the meeting, make a cup of tea and let everyone in the door, in a virtual kind of way.  So grab a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever you might like to relax with as we catch up with one another and encourage one another in the middle of the week.  On a zoom meeting we get to see one another and hear one another.  To join the meeting just click the link below which will take you to the meeting site.  If you have not used zoom before, you will likely be asked to download the app when it tries to open.  Just follow the instructions and you should be able to join us.  I hope to see you there and have a conversation with many from St. Helen’s.  If you are asked for the passcode, it is 139376.

Financial Contributions - You are invited to send in your financial contributions by the post or dropping in the mail slot in the door of the lower hall.  If you would like someone to pick it up, that can be arranged as well.  We also have the capability to receive e-transfers.  If you would like to make your contribution this way, the email address to send it is: giving2sthelen@gmail.com You may also want to consider setting up a pre-authorized donation.  If so, please do contact one of the wardens by leaving a message on the office phone or send an email to the office.  A warden will get back to you.  We really appreciate your financial contributions to the life and work of St. Helen’s.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services – We are still unsure what will happen regarding these services.  As the time grows closer, it should become clear.  An edition of the Bells newsletter will be sent out aft December 15th.  We hope to be able to clarify just what will happen by then.  At the very least, there will be livestream services   May we all be filled with the anticipation of the coming of the Messiah in our preparations for Christmas and in all our relationships.
