CHRISTMAS BAZAAR – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3rd

• Doors Open at 11:00 am
• Raffle Draw at 2:30 pm
• Doors Close at 3:00 pm

St. Helen’s will hold our annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, December 3rd. Let’s all pitch in to make this an unforgettable Bazaar. We’ll volunteer, donate, and gather our Church (and wider) communities to come together and raise funds for St. Helen’s.

PANTRY and BAKING: Make and bring your favourite cookies, cakes and loafs. We put them on tables and watch the visitors ‘gobble’ them up. And oh yes, we’d also like items for the pantry, such as jams, pickles, chutneys, cookies, etc.

DONATIONS to SELL: Start gathering you previously loved jewelry and Christmas items and decor, that can be purchased by visitors and ‘re-gifted,’ or simply enjoyed anew.

BOOKS: John Palmer will be running his ‘mini book fair.’ Do you have books to donate? Please check with John to see if he could use some additions to the offering.

TEA ROOM: We need members to donate ingredients (or a bit of cash), and then if the spirit lifts you, bake shortbread, Christmas Cakes, or any other sweet edibles that come to mind. Please let Zoltán know what you have in mind.

DELIVERING ALL YOUR KIND OFFERINGS … All Donations and Foodstuffs should be dropped off on Friday, December 1st between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

RAFFLE: Judy Nicholson will coordinate the Raffle. Tickets will be available starting Sunday, November 6th. Grab a bunch of ticket books, and sell them to everyone you love, at home and at work. The prizes include tickets to a Canucks game, an impressive cash prize, and a gourmet food hamper.

GETTING THE WORD OUT: This year we’ll be embarking on a major advertising blitz. And in addition to our publicity efforts, we’ll also need everyone’s help putting up Posters & Flyers where you can, and distributing Handouts to your network.

PARTICIPATING: Not sure of how you can help? A bit shy? Please contact Zoltán and he’ll find you something to do, commensurate with your availability and resources.
