All Saints Celebrations

10am Holy Eucharist In-Person Service and Livestream

5pm Evening Prayer for All Souls   (in the church and in the cemetery
Remembering those whom we love but see no longer

10am Eucharist - Are you a member of the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster here at St. Helen's?
This Sunday as we celebrate All Saints, each parish in the diocese is participating individually in the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster.  We are not able to come together as a diocese to honour those who have been put forward by their parishes to receive this award so Archbishop Melissa has asked each parish to conduct its own induction.  This Sunday, we are inducting Lynn Turner, currently the Rector's Warden into the Order.  The award is given to lay people who have offered leadership and skills for the life of the church over a long period of time.  We celebrate with Lynn and invite all those others who have received the award at for their ministry at St. Helen's to attend the servcie in person wearing the medal they themselves received.  It would be great to reach our capacity number for in-person attendance this Sunday as a part of this important event.  Congratulations to Lynn!

5pm Evening Prayer - A special service of prayer to give thanks for those who have gone before us.  We especially commemorate those who are buried in St. Helen's Cemetery.  Please pass the word around that this service will take place this Sunday, November 1st at 5pm.  Our numbers will of course be limited to the social distancing constraints.  We will light candles in church, have ribbons in the branches of the holly trees and place candles on the graves of those who are buried in the cemetery.
