A beautiful service of Carols by Candlelight on Sunday evening, December 20th was enjoyed by over 110 people attending.  There were congregational carols for everyone to sing interspersed with Carols in languages other than English from the cultures that make up our diverse congregation including Tagalog (Philippines), Karen (Burma), Sinhalese (Sri Lanka), KwaKwala (First Nations), and French (Quebec).  A few of the readings were read in the mother tongues of some of the readers including Malayalam (India), Tagalog (Philippines), and Sinhalese (Sri Lanka). Here are a few of the photos taken during the course of the service by the communications officer of the Diocese of New Westminster, Randy Murray. Thank you to the choir under Lynn Turner for their anthem and leading the congregational carols as well as those who read lessons and singers in the various groups sharing their voices to bring our worship together.
