Join us Tuesday, February 25th between the hourse of 5pm and 7pm for our Shrove Tuesday Pancake and Sausage extravaganza.  There will be maple syrup and fruit as well.

Shrove comes from the word shrive, which has to do with receiving absolution after confession as people prepare to make the 40 day journey of Lent which leads to Easter.  Shrove therefore is being shriven before lent starts.  We might think about it as checking our list to make sure we are properly packed and ready to go on a trip.
So, it will be a great supper and a wonderful time of fellowship as we all get ourselves ready to launch out on the Lenten journey which begins the next day, Ash Wednesday.
Supper is by donation so bring the whole family.  This is a time of fellowship and preparing.  If you have any palms from last year, please bring them along.  They will be burned at 6pm and the ashes from these will be used for the Ash Wednesday Services. Everyone is welcome.
