The Lenten journey is a pilgrimmage. You are invited to begin your Lenten Journey by joining us for worship on Ash Wednesday, February 26th here with the community of St. Helen's.
There will be two services of the Holy Eucharist with the imposition of ashes. The first service begins at 12 noon and lasts about 45 minutes. The second service of the day begins at 7pm and last about an hour.
Each service is a time of reflection to prepare ouselves for the Lenten journey, to walk with Jesus as we think about our lives, our relationship with God and with others, how we live out our faith, how we might be more creative in following Jesus as a disciple as well as making amends for things that we have done or left undone. It is a time to suspend some of our usual activities to pursue time together in community as well as to be more intentional individually about our prayer life and reflecting on the scriptures.
