St. Helen's International Dinner
The dinner will be held on Saturday, February 3rd beginning at 5:30pm. St. Helen's is a congregation of people who are many cultures from many places around the world. Our Christian faith and our humanity is our common bond which draws us all into fellowship and friendship. We like to celebrate who we are and one of the ways we can do this is to enjoy a meal together comprised of dishes from many different places. The dinner is being co-organized by Simon Lee and Jean Robertson.
This is a ticketed event but the tickets are free. So you do need a ticket. You may get one or more from our wardens, Fil and Jacquie. So do request the tickets you need as we need to know how many people are coming to properly plan for the evening. We ask that people do give a small donation at the door. It isn't necessary but would be welcome to cover the costs. We are printing 150 tickets.
As this is a fundraiser there will be wine and beer available for the meal. A highlight of the evening will be Auction of Services so do bring your wallet along and bid on the services being auctioned. The auction will be led by Jean Robertson. In addition to this there will be a raffle.
