Caring for Creation
A Summer Church Camp

Monday to Friday July 30th to August 3rd

Program time: 9am to 5pm

Children may be dropped off as early as 8am and picked up as late as 6pm.

Cost: $75 for the whole week (bursaries may be available and a 'group rate' can be arranged

          for children of the same family (siblings).

 

Breakfast will be provided.  There will be snacks mid-morning and mid-afternoon.  Lunch will be provided as well.  (For those children who may have special nutrituion needs, parents may be asked to supply lunch)

 

Caring for creation is an important part of our everyday lives and Christian faith understands God as our creator.  Human beings are creatures and all us are God's children.  We relationship both with God and with the rest of creation.  Over the week of July 30th to August 3rd, we are going to explore the wonders of these relationships with fun activities, crafts, music, drama and exploration around our church grounds.  St. Helen's, Surrey is situated on 6 acres of land, 3 of which are natural forest It is a wonderful place to explore, have fun, and make new friends.

 

Children ages 5-12 are welcome to join us at St Helens.

The cost of the event is $75 per child which covers the cost of food and basic materials for the event.  We encourage additional donations by those who wishing to support the Church's ministry. Please make cheques payable to St Helen's Anglican Church Surrey.

The event is being run by Rev. Stephen Laskey of St Helen's and Jonathan Pinkney a Diocesan Youth Movement leader along with specialist session leaders and volunteers.

The spaces are limited so please register early.  We will temporarily hold a place for your child when you email to register. Payment will be needed to guarantee your child's place.
